Photos from Today's Press Conference at Ashley's Quality Care

This 25-year-old agency, which provides home healthcare workers to aged and disabled clients, may be forced to close its doors because of the state's budget impasse, which has delayed payments to Ashley's and other state-funded home health agencies and has forced them to lay off workers and end longtime worker/client relationships. Without home care, as CEO Frankie Reddick explained today, many of its most vulnerable clients may be forced into nursing homes.

The budget stalemate must end, for the sake of Ashley's Quality Care (and all other agencies in Illinois) and the clients they serve.
